Here is reason to believe that Obama's foreign policy is one borne of sheer chaos, with no sense of direction in mind . . . talk about a "clear and present danger."

The most troubling aspect of Obama's foreign policy failures,  is his abandonment of the cause of "true and individual freedom" in the world at large.  With the openings months of his administration,  Obama began an effort to shore up ties with  Russian, China, Iran,  Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil without regard to the clear and present danger each presents to the United States and their own citizenship.

The South American countries named countries above,  have entered into treatises with Russia and/or China.  None of them are allies of America and the Venezuelan/Brazilian alliance is working hard to destroy the influence of the U.S. in South American,  a fact that is being grossly under-reported by the American press.  The Washington Times recently carried an editorial expose' on Brazil, and its informative conclusions are most disturbing:

(Note: "Ms Rousseff is the president of Brazil)
Ms. Rousseff is an exemplar of the anti-American hard left that is uniting in the developing world to check U.S. power. One of the main goals of her mission to Washington is to get Mr. Obama’s seal of approval for Brasilia’s ambition to acquire a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council. U.S. support for this scheme would be self-destructive as Brazil would provide a reliable vote against American interests in the world body. Ms. Rousseff, a former communist guerrilla herself, is a strong supporter of anti-U.S. dictatorships such as the Castros in Cuba and Hugo Chavez inVenezuela. She has backed the Iranian mullahs’ efforts to acquire nuclear capability while leading a club of nations pressing for U.S. nuclear disarmament. If the planet is divvied up between those who are for us and those who are against us, Ms. Rousseff is on the wrong side.

Understand that Obama has expressed the desire to be one of Brazil's "best customers" in a disgusting speech made in early 2011 as he visited Brazil, hoping to take advantage of that country's oil production increases.

“We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers. At a time when we’ve been reminded how easily instability in other parts of the world can affect the price of oil, the United States could not be happier with the potential for a new, stable source of energy.”

Understand that there is no prevailing strategy or principle involved in the structuring of Obama's foreign policy,  except for his anti-colonial angst with America's historic alliances and sense of direction.

Point of post: to make the readership aware of the foreign policy direction being taken by Obama.   I do not think that Obama is working to take down America as he pursues the several alliances alluded to, above.  I simply believe he is an idealist beginner with no common sense and an Utopian world view.  In short,  he is full of idealist notions but with no serious long term plan in mind and is, consequently, as dangerous as a 5 year old with a loaded gun.
