Sen. Charles Schumer blasted Board of Elections officials Monday for blowing a deadline for sending ballots to troops overseas - putting their chance to vote at risk. "Our troops sacrifice their lives to protect our freedoms. They should never, ever be denied the right to vote," Schumer said. There are approximately 50,000 New York City residents serving overseas - and 320,000 statewide. . . . . source here >>>>>
Notes: understand this - close to 80% of the military will vote a conservative ballot if anyone bothers to mail them their ballots on time. The best kept secret in town is the fact of the military's great great displeasure with the man who pretends to be Commander and Chief.Of course we believe in Schumer's angst. After all, he is one of those fair-dealing Social Democrats. It is just a coincidence that if this a larger problem, nationwide, as many fear, more than a million conservative votes may be ignored.
Update: Understand that four years ago, 2006, an election that went to the Dems, big time, more than half the military ballot was NEVER counted, and this according to a spokesman from NPR.
We remember that Gore attempted to cancel out the Florida military ballot during his 2000 loss to George Bush. This Democrat nonsense has been going on for more than a decade and it is time to bring it all to an end.
2010, we begin to show them the door.
