Eligibility limits for government assistance

Those individals who make more than $99,000 or those couples making more than $198,000,  will not receive any assistance. 

You are allowed to take money out of your 401k without penalty  (up to 100,000 dollares);  You will have 3 years to pay that money back into your savings, again,  without penality.
