California is key to the Dems effort for taking back the House.  Here is the good news:

Of the 14 districts in the state held by conservatives,  seven are considered vulnerable.  As you may or may not not know,  all candidates for a particular district,  run on the same ballot.  Six of the seven districts saw the GOP candidate bring in more than 50% of the total vote.  That does not assure victory,  but it is encouraging.  In November,  rather than six or more Democrats on the ballot,  there will be only one.  True for the Dems,  true for the GOP.  That 50% vote total ?   That was in a contest with more than one GOP candidate as well.

The Democrat plan is to win four of the seven contests.  They could pull it off,  but the GOP is in good position to win 6 of the 7.  Time will tell,  but House race will be a cliff hanger,  as they say.
