It was Trump AND Kasich. Fox News decided not to have a Monday night conversation iwth Cruz, so the debate was cancelled. Enough, already, right !!!???
The article is a little right, but mostly wrong. The article blames the demise of the GOP on the teaparty movement: "The truth is that the road to Trumpism began long ago, when movement conservatives — ideological warriors of the right — took over the G.O.P. And it really was a complete takeover." Look, the reason for the ascension of the teaparty was simply this: folks were tired of being lied to by their GOP leaders. Democrat leaders lie to their constituency all the time, but their folks are too busy rioting to notice.
Only in this sense did the GOP create Trump. Donald is the conservative nation giving the middle finger to those who have played them for decades.
