"Trending" is the dynamic aspect to anecdotal or fixed survey results. That Hillary is "down" is a problem, of course. But, more importantly, her downward trend line (emphasis on "trending down") is the most disturbing reality. The "trend" suggests that Hillary will see more bad days before good. But the "anecdotal" should not be dismissed, either. And that tells us that Hillary is down, in New Hampshire, by 9 points. Understand that there are districts or states in which she will come in strong, but the early primaries are doing damage to her strength, and that is as much a problem as anything.
