Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.

The New Black Pathers, all 40 or 50 of them, want a race war as Donald continues to pretend that he is a conservative icon.
<<< Ever notice there are never more than 10,15,20 of these haters in a picture . . . . . . and they want to have a race war ???
From Breitbart.com:* WALLER COUNTY, Texas — A group of armed members of the New Black
Panther Party marched on the Waller County Jail Wednesday afternoon
chanting “The revolution is on… Off the pigs,” and “Oink Oink… Bang
Bang!” The group of about fifteen Black Panthers exercised their First
and Second Amendment rights. The group was met in Waller County by a
large contingent of Harris County (Houston) Sheriff’s Office deputies.

* Breitbart is a hard, hard Right publication that finally showed its divisive colors in the latest dust up between Trump and FoxNews. Occasionally, it has news worth reporting. It is my intention to move away from Breitbart and GatewayPundit as media sources.
Understand this: Midknight Review is solidly conservative, but more in line with the Fiorina's, Ben Carson's, and Marco Rubio's of this world. M.R. does not support the Trump candidacy and will not, even if Trump decides to become substantive in his rhetoric.
It is intellectually insulting to hear him pretend that the bible is his favorite book while admitting he has never asked God for forgiveness. It is intellectually insulting to hear him pretend to be anti-Hillary when he has donated thousands of dollars to her political career. His four bankruptcies tell me he does not care how many people he destroys along the way (those bankruptcies cost his lenders more than a billion dollars and 2,000 jobs). He has no intentions of defunding Planned Parenthood, despite his pretense otherwise, he is pro-single payer healthcare, and cannot tell you how he is going fulfill any of his campaign promises such as forcing Mexico to build the wall, somehow extracting Iraqi oil to the U.S. (the Iraqi economy be damned) nor has he said a word about radically down-sizing Central Planning. It is early in the campaign and time might give us a reasoned Donald Trump . . . . . but he will never get my vote.
