Saturday, Obama met with his national security team. He has a national security team? Who knew?

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama's national security team discussed the Ukraine crisis in a session at the White House on Saturday after a last-ditch bid to find a diplomatic solution to the Cold War-style standoff with Russia floundered.
Secretary of State John Kerry, who just returned from talks with his Russian counterpart in London, was at the White House meeting along with Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. . . . .
Editor's notes:  I ask my headlined question because of the inconsequential history of this band of Progressive "We think Russia is a friend" Brothers. When a leadership does nothing,  it is assumed that there is no leadership.
This council?  These are men who were leaders in disarming Ukraine,  back in 2006,  with the promise,  "We will have your back;"  the same group of men behind the 5 year, unilateral, progressive, disarmament of the United States, the same group that supported Obama's abandonment of Iraq and,  soon,  Afghanistan. These are the same folks who advise spiting on our veteran's benefit packages while expanding the food stamp program, and devising "rules of engagement" that are having such a murderous effect on own soldiers  . . . .  this is Obama's "security council."
When all the blow is over  (and,  believe me,  Obama and friends know all about blow),  Russia will do what Russia intends to do,  knowing that Kerry has told them,  over and over again,  "We do not want confrontation with Russia."
That is like me walking into a biker bar, suddenly becoming aware of my precarious circumstance,  and saying, "Hey,  I don't want no trouble."  The sickening appeal of a coward.  And this is what passes as a security council in these pot-modern times  (ooops,  I meant to write "post-modern"  but,  somehow, "pot" seems more appropriate,  no?)
