notes: Besides our
unwitting (?) support of a number of terrorist related groups, we learn from Fox News, this morning, that Homeland Security has only filled 60% of
the security and support positions provided under law. 40% of all Homeland Security positions are
vacant and the Administration wants to pretend that the nation is safer
now, than before Obama became
president.
From the Daily Mail : A new investigation has revealed that
the U.S. government has paid more than $150 million to groups that fund terror
attacks against American soldiers.
The findings have been reported by the Pentagon itself as
the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction compiled a list of
43 such companies who are connected to Taliban leaders who have arranged bombs
and attacks on American targets.
‘It’s like the United States government subsidizing the
Taliban, al Qaeda, the Haqqani network, those groups that are trying to shoot
and kill our soldiers,’ New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen told ABC
