Pelosi wants any "fix" to ObamaCare to be "administrative" rather than legislative. After all, the Dems need to continue their policy of Imperial/Dictatorial Rule.

Understand that anything Obama might suggest, either this morning or sometime in the future,  will be temporary,  a solution that excludes the GOP opposition from contributing to the "fix,"  designed to please only his base.

Pelosi on Obamacare fix: "I would rather it be an administrative fix" bc that could be done without "accompanying agendas."
Did Nancy Pelosi Just Leak a Major White House Obamacare Announcement?

Update:  We are being told that Obama will allow folks to keep the coverage that has already been cancelled.  If he takes this path,  it will give him the ability,  then,  to blame the insurance industry for not reinstating these policies as if "reinstatement" is an easy process that does not involve state's approval and compliance with the new ObamaCare law.  Further,  if he does not put a time limit on this solution or allow for increased  - drastically increased - rates,  this solution will undermine the basic financial principles of ObamaCare.

Update #1:  In short,  if Obama's statement is,  in effect,  a postponement of the so-called individual mandate until the end of 2014,  he has capitulated to the GOP position.  He cannot announce any permanent changes because that will undermine the financial basis for the continuation of ObamaCare and/or its pretense at being "universal" health care.  And,  I say "pretense" because when this is all over,  there will remain between 30 and 60 million Americans without health care.

My question is this: how does he amend "settled law" via administrative decisions?  He is NOT a legislator nor does he have the power and right to issue administrative decisions that have the force of law or amends "settled law."

You do know why he is delaying his presser?  He is listening to the punditry and amending his comments to deal or preempt opposition already being put forward as we wait for his appearance.
