Obama pads his report, but, still, only 27,000 folks signed up for ObamaCare through that website. Sadly, we do not know the truth about the total enrollees.

Direct from the HHS website,  we have this entry in the larger report on ObamaCare enrollment.  Understand that more than 1.5 million folks accessed the eligibility site,  but less only 3.5% actually "enrolled."  Understand that "enrolled" means to the Obama government,  folks who have purchased a plan with a first month payment or filled out an app,  chose a plan,  but did not complete the purchase with a payment.  Only in Obama Land do we count a sale before it is, in fact, a sale  . . . . . .  and the Administration is not telling us how many actually paid for their insurance selection versus how many chose a plan but left the site before laying down a payment.

Yes,  boys and girls,  we are back to "jobs created or saved"  only this time,  it is a list of "sales and maybe sales."  Apparently this bunch simply cannot deal with the plain truth of a matter.  They always have to pad the list and inflate their claimed successes.

From the HHS report,  pp 2 and 3:   To date, the Marketplaces have processed eligibility determinations and assessments for 98
percent (1,477,853) of the 1,509,883 persons who have applied for coverage – including:

• 1,081,592 persons (73 percent of the total number of persons with processed eligibility
determinations / assessments) have been determined eligible to enroll in a Marketplace
plan, (including 326,130 persons who have been determined eligible to enroll in a
Marketplace plan with financial assistance),

o 106,185 (10 percent) of the 1,081,592 total Marketplace plan eligible persons
have already selected a plan by clicking a button on the website page.

CBO estimates 7 million individuals will enroll in qualified health plans (QHPs) through the Marketplace in 2014.

Accounts of individuals who have been determined or assessed eligible for Medicaid or CHIP are transferred to state Medicaid
and CHIP agencies, which then take any action needed to effectuate enrollment. “Assessment” refers to those FFM states where
the state has chosen to retain the ability make the final eligibility determination.
