Re: the Peter Principle and B Obama's presidency. The corporate theory of advancement is a perfect fit for what we see in Barry's sense of corporate leadership.

From Weasel Zipper and the New York Times,  we have this comment:    ". . . . those loyal to Mr. Obama say that his quest for excellence can bleed into cockiness and that he tends to overestimate his capabilities." 

Me?  I am thinking the "peter principle" has kicked into high gear with this stranger in our White House.  He came from the thuggish atmosphere of Chicago gangland politics,  and has taken on a job for which he is historically unqualified.  

That action is the core of the "peter principle"  -------     advancement within a corporation to the point of incompetence.  

And Obama,  after four years,  is all petered out.
