Update on the Trayvon Martin story:
It is very likely that young Martin was NOT the one yelling for help. Rather, it was Zimmerman. After he had been told not to pursue Martin, Zimmerman returned to his pickup and was accosted by the younger man, at which time Zimmerman's nose was broken, he was knocked to the ground, his head was repeatedly slammed against the pavement or ground, and began yelling for help. A shot was fired and Trayvon Martin died at the scene . . . . . . . all of this according to witnesses at the scene. There is cause, then, to assume that this shooting was not an act of bias, but an action of self defense. Certainly, the Sanford Police Department need to be allowed time to investigate. Apparently, Zimmerman's injuries matched up with his account of what happened. Whether true or not, none of us reading this post have a clue. There does not appear to be reason to make an arrest, in this case, at least not at this time. Again, Zimmerman's story matches up with the facts of his physical injuries.
Almost forgotten is this: after two and half weeks of reporting Zimmerman as a "white" man, the press finally gave up on driving its particular Marxist bias and began telling more of the truth.
As to the morbid bias of Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan, the New Black Panthers and those who seemingly condone their actions (Obama, Holder and others), we have the reported comments by Reverend C.L. Bryant.
Rev Bryant, chapter leader for the NAACP, took time, today, to frame the race baiting endeavors of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (pardon me for not using the term "Reverend"). His last paragraph in our excerpt, below, presents the real problem young black men have, in and around their communities.
Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country. "His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions"' Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller. The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.” Jackson, for example, recently said Martin’s death shows how “blacks are under attack” and “targeting, arresting, convicting blacks and ultimately killing us is big business. . . . . . ."The epidemic is truly black on black crime, The greatest danger to the lives of young black men are young black men,” Bryant said.
We all want justice done, but a lynch mob mentality is not the answer.
