Colmes apologizes for saying that Santorum played with his dead baby. Why the apology?

If you are not aware, liberal radio host and Fox News paid adviser,  Alan Colmes, in a Fox interview,  tried to make Santorum appear like an idiot for taking his two hour old,  dead baby,  home from the hospital to introduce the infant to his would be siblings.  Clearly,  a two hour baby can be easily forgotten by its siblings. Rick and his wife did not want that to be the case.  

Colmes went so far as to picture the event as the Santorums taking the deceased child home "to play with it" for a couple of hours.  He was using this instance to type Rick Santorum as a nutcase.  It back-fired on him.  

Yesterday,  he called Santorum and apologized.  Why?  Because he is losing radio stations over the matter.  

This is what liberal do.  They made fun of Trig,  Sarah Palin's "challenged" baby and followed her daughter around.  This is typical liberal crap. They do this sort of thing with regularity.  

He should be fired from Fox, as an adviser.  


Update:  understand that the death occurred in 1996.  Colmes waits until now to use the event,  politically.
