Just 41% in Alaska Would Vote for Palin for President.

Who cares. And who says she is running. 41% for Palin versus 39% for Obama. Palin wins. Understand this, after the first Palin/Obama debate, the Palin Presidency would be fully assured. It is not that she more qualified. After all, he will have served as a president for 4 years. Its that he is such a failure at the position.

After a couple of years, Palin has proven that she is her own person. In supporting the tea party movement with gusto, she has made it clear that she is an unabashed conservative but a conservative more in line with Reagan than some might suppose. Her support of McCain was understandable in spite of the fact that Midknight Review cannot stand the man. There is simply nothing we like about Senator McCain.. But we know where Palin is coming from in her enforcement. Her support of Carly Fiorina came as no real surprise, either. We watched Fiorina interviewed by Glenn Beck. It was obvious that Beck preferred Tom Campbell, but Fiorina sounded great, in our opinion. What people do not know about Fiorina is that she served as a top financial advisor to . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . John McCain during the '08 campaign. Now, does Palin's endorsement make a little more sense ?? Thought so.

Our advise is this: do not look to Palin's endorsements as if they were political statements. Want to know what Palin believes, ask Palin; read Palin; listen to Palin. She will do what she says.

She has a new book coming out in the first week of November (America by Heart). Her first book, informative and very well written, has sold more than 2.5 millions -- 1.5 million more than first predicted. This new book is billed as her reflections on family, America and flag. Also know that if, in fact, she does plan on running, she has at least a year and a half to qualify herself in the eyes of many. No matter, she will continue to be a huge influence within the conservative ranks.
