Maureen Dowd is pictured left -- and we do mean Left. She is as rabid a Lefty news reportess as there is - a big name in the Liberal editorial circuit. She has no regard for conservative opinion and, even worse, for anything that smackes of the GOP.
With that description in mind, we have this rather terse summary of Obama's Israeli policy:

But in the case of a defiant Israel, the White House has not yet retreated into its usual compromising crouch. end of quote.
And so we have a perfectly worded Right wing attack written by a dedicated Lefty - Maureen Dowd. From beginning to end, her article bears an implicit critical tone as regards the Chosen One.
Midknight Review finds it noteworthy when a touted leader of Left wing thinking takes objection to Mr. Obama -- and these articles have become numerous since the first of the year (2010). As election day, 2012 (!) approaches, expect to see more and more of this sort of thing at Midknight Review.
We are fully dedicated to Obama's defeat. We care nothing about being "fair minded" except to say that our criticisms will be factual and on point. But, when he does something right (and when will THAT happen), Midknight Review will not be the place to find mention of that correctness. Obama is wrong for this nation and he is totally wrong. What few things he might do right are so "in the shadows" as to defy mention.
This editor is 64 years old and has never been so disappointed in a President as he is in Obama. He spent some of his campaign laughing at the white guys, the conservative hick, the Bible thumbing gun toten traditionalist and after his election, he made it clear that the had no regard for Conservative opinion, political or otherwise. He is the first President to actually organize (AFA) against his opponents. He is the first President to personally see to it that his "volunteers" were bused to first, this location and then, to that location. He brought them in to Virginia and New Jersey and Massachusetts and lost in each case.
He had the arrogance to accept the Nobel Peace Prize for having done nothing. In fact, his time as President may prove to be one of the most disruptive periods in American and World history. "Peace" will not be a part of his legacy.
But enough of our rant. This post is much more about what his "allies" think of him than our predictable prognostications. So we leave you with Maureen Dowd and her cutting review of Mr. Obama -- jds.
