Just four days ago, Obama was at a negative 4, up from a minus 17 four days earlier. The negative 4 was a marked improvement for the Novice Commander. He was riding the wave of enthusiasm generated by his confrontational performances at the State of the Union and the GOP Caucus gathering. The Lefties loved it and they responded. This "Index" is a chart measuring the passion of the "believers" and "unbelievers."
Now, four days after his best showing in months, he is back to a minus 12. This is reflective of the discontent that is being felt within the ranks of the far left - the political group from whence Obama came. They are really angry.
And the voting public appears to be permanently unhappy with the man, as well. In the following, the two columns on the right measure voter approval. Just when it looked as though he would go above a 50% approval rating, his numbers have fallen back to a negative 46% - among the lowest of his presidency.
On the days of his two referenced public appearances, the Caucus and the State of the Union, his numbers were at a -17. We noted that if his improving numbers did not remain constant, his presidency was/is in a great deal of trouble. He is receiving major criticism from the Left and the Right, Unions, foreign leaders, taxpayers, mortgage holders, the unemployed, the environmentalists and the gay community. With the following numbers in mind, understand that he cannot win re-election unless things change --- jds.
