Yesterday, Obama spoke to another friendly
crowd, this time in Connecticut:
“The day Newtown happened was the toughest day of my
presidency,” Obama said in an emotional speech from Connecticut’s capital, an
hour’s drive from Newtown. “But I’ve got to tell you, if we don’t respond to
this, that’ll be a tough day for me too.”
This, coming from a
man who, in 2010, who was given an “F” by the anti-gun lobby, and that included his stance on gun
registration.

President Barack Obama
on Monday received a failing grade from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun
Violence for running away from gun control. The group, which
endorsed Obama in 2008, gave him an “F” on every issue it scored, including
background checks, gun trafficking, guns in public, the federal assault weapons
ban, standing up to the gun lobby and leadership.
