Tough talk about those danged old birthers. You are now a moron if you ask to see the actual document.

Here are the words of the new 72 year old Governor of Hawaii: “I certainly hope by the fourth year of our administration that we’ll have dealt with this burgeoning birth controversy,” the White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, told reporters last year. The fact-checkers at PolitiFact sounded similarly frustrated in a 2009 post: they thought they had put the matter to rest. “Oh, how naïve we were,” the post’s writer, Robert Farley, said. . . . . The new Governor says Obama was born in Hawaii. He even remembers the baby's parents, a 49 year old memory of one of thousands of babies. Of course he remembers. Who in the world would argue with this claim?! Heck, I am sure that many of you remember reading the birth announcements FROM FORTY-NINE YEARS AGO !!! Geeeeesh.

Update:
sounds like a good argument, above. Problem: turns out Abercrombie, the new Governor of Hawaii, attended school with Obama's young parents. He was 23 at the time according to information we found, just this morning (12/29/2010). In fact, one article states that "he befriended" Obama's parents. Wow. So that is that. We finally have someone who was actually there, friends of Obama's parents. Case closed ? Look, this testimony is wholly without confirmation. It does appear that the Governor and Obama's parents went to the same school at the same time. We have school records to prove that. Were they buds? Maybe, but we have nothing to confirm this except Abercrombie's statements. Maybe he has a picture of himself and his two young friends?

In the end, we have the testimony of another Democrat, a fellow liberal who believes in the "ends justify the means," making a big deal of Obama's Hawaiian birth while Obama is in Abercrombie's state, running around the Islands in party mode.
Why doesn't he go to his new found friend, Mr. Obama, and ask him to go down to the country recorder's office and get that birth certificate. Why doesn't he do this? Why doesn't Obama do that? If they are all telling the truth, we don't understand why our suggestion is not the reality of "tomorrow's" press conference.

And then, there are those two newspaper announcements regarding Obama's birth. We all know that it is impossible to play games with that sort of proof. No one could possibly forge a newspaper story. In fact, it is such solid proof, that newspaper birth announcements are apparently now considered as more authoritative than the actual birth certificate, itself. When asked for proof of birth at the Social Security office, pull out that newspaper announcement and see how that works out for you.

Oh, we almost forgot the researched support of the Hawaiian birth account from FactCheck and PolitiFact. After all, they are "non-partisan." Understand this, FactCheck and PolitiFact are as biased Left as are the NY Times and the Washington Post. AND, their studied opinions are as concrete a proof as the birth certificate. . . . . . . apparently. In fact, who needs a stinking birth certificate when we have the research of FactCheck and PolitiFact? Seriously.

The article linked above, mentions the fact that Hawaii does not consider a birth certificate to be a "public document." Does that mean that Obama cannot walk into the County Recorders office, demand his birth certificate, and present it for the world to see ??

Look, when we complicate an otherwise simple solution to any problem, we are free to conclude that something is wrong.

I am not a birther but !!! to fail to present the birth certificate when that is the clearest path to solving the "problem," is either just plain stupid or an indicator that something is wrong.

In fact, we have gotten to the point in time at which it is not almost illegal to ask for proof of birth when such is mandated by the Constitution. The founders made natural born citizenship a requirement and the Left wants us to believe that the Founders never intended that questionable citizenship be resolved.

Maybe the birthers are right.

I rather think that this is about Obama's arrogance and his willingness to throw it in the face of those who are seen as his enemies. "No one tells the O what to do."

Is that what this is all about?

Update: 8:30 am 12/28/2010 - Monday night (last night), Chris Matthews voiced his opinion on this matter: If it exists, why not show it?
